Date-Coding

What is it? Why is it important for your Car?

For the serious car enthusiast, originality is of utmost importance. After paint finish, glass is often the most recognized area of a collector car. Clarity and original markings in the glass are the most apparent. After all, what do you look through to see the interior?

Judging standards are becoming more technical when it comes to glass and the markings on it. Things to be aware of when ordering coded glass are, does the logo read from the inside or outside, where is it places in the window, what are the contents of the logo? It is helpful to us to fax us the information so your glass will be marked exactly as the original. (Many different formats were used for each year and each vehicle).

Keep your legend original. It's more cost effective to do it right the first time than going the budget route and paying for it later in lower value due to non-original glass.

If your legend does not require the finishing touch of date coded glass we can help you as well with replacement glass uncoded.
